The Faculty of Engineering, Toyama University, consists of four departments: the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, the Department of Intellectual Information Systems Engineering, the Department of Mechanical and Intellectual Systems Engineering, and the Department of Materials Systems Engineering and Life Science. The present constitution of the Faculty was established in 1997, after several reorganizations and revisions according to the demands of the time and the change in social conditions.
